On furry characters, a Marking is a pattern or design on the character's body, similar to a tattoo, but on NON-skin bodyparts such as fur, scale(s), feather(s), and/or beak.

Seems like markings is intended for more distinctive coloration than stripes or spots.

but on NON-skin bodyparts such as fur, scale(s), feather(s), and/or beak.

So then we should have <color>_striped_fur and related tags, which those can imply markings?

I would like that. But it should be:

  • color_striped_fur
    • striped_markings
      • markings
    • color_markings
    • fur_markings
