Topic: [REJECTED] Morph BUR

Posted under Tag Alias and Implication Suggestions

The bulk update request #2812 has been rejected.

change category pokémorph (0) -> species
remove implication pokémorph (0) -> pokémon (0)
remove implication pokémon_humanoid (0) -> pokémon (0)
create implication pokémorph (0) -> pokémon_(species) (0)
change category digimorph (686) -> species
create implication digimon_humanoid (26) -> digimorph (686)
create implication digimon_humanoid (26) -> humanoid (457427)

Reason: more accurate and simplified implication structure

pokémon_humanoid -> pokémorph -> pokémon_(species)

pokémon_humanoid -> humanoid

digimon_humanoid -> digimorph -> digimon_(species)

digimon_humanoid -> humanoid

EDIT: The bulk update request #2812 (forum #339539) has been rejected by @gattonero2001.

IIRC, Pokemorph is for anthrofied pokemon, which is different from a pokemon_humanoid (humanoidized pokemon). I presume it's the same for digimon. And since it specifies the form of the character, digi/pokemorph shouldn't be a species tag.

pokémon humanoid already implies pokémorph

Without any discussion, and I'll let you guess who did it. I don't think that implication is valid, given that digimorph doesn't have that implication, and we should keep humanoidized and anthrofied tags separate.

Whether any previously existing implications were valid or not is out of the scope of this BUR. I'll leave the question as an exercise for the approver.

The bulk update request #3996 is active.

remove implication pokemon_humanoid (1267) -> pokemorph (66138)
create implication pokemon_humanoid (1267) -> pokemon_(species) (518767)
create implication digimon_humanoid (26) -> digimon_(species) (60718)

Reason: Well, since I was reminded about it, might as well give this a go. pokemorph and pokemon_humanoid are distinct concepts that shouldn't be conflated. The existing implication is equivalent to having animal_humanoid imply anthro.

While checking I noticed that digimon_humanoid doesn't have any implications yet.
