Reason: Apparently this one is hard to spell
i wish i could alias it to jewellery instead but apparently americans like to use "jewelry" more often.. ick

Jewellery just sounds like a person/place that makes and works with jewels.
...I'm not sure why the same can't be said of Jewelry though? That is kind of an oddity, huh.
literally never seen it spelled "jewellery" in my whole damn life (or more likely never noticed it)

Wiktionary in fact supports that the '-ry' suffix is merely an alternate form of the '-ery' suffix.
