Also luminescence.
Some of these look more like bioluminescence though and that might be what they meant to tag.
That being said, I'm not entirely convinced that bioluminescence is used that much differently than other forms of glowing, or whether it matters. It almost seems as though it would almost work to imply glowing_eyes, etc. to bioluminescence instead, but I don't think it works in all cases (evil characters, nuclear waste, etc.).

Yeah, that's part of why I wanted to run it through the forum. The lines between glowing vs bioluminescence have gotten pretty blurry. I'm not sure if they should be cleaned up and kept, or cleaned up and implicated (after all, bioluminescence is still a form of glowing, so it could work as a subtype). Or if there's another solution. But keeping a way to distinguish natural/biological forms of glowing does seem useful.

There's already a bioluminescence -> glowing implication, so that should simplify things slightly.

I want bioluminescence because it's usually tagged for character's who glow inexplicably, which is a serious turn off for me. I don't necessarily blacklist it, but seeing that tagged on an image at least calms me down when I would otherwise be highly repulsed.

I guess. I mean, luminescent sounds cooler.
By the way, don't forget "Luminescence."
(Oh, parasprite beat me)

It's not always inexplicable
maybe there should be a tag for anatomically correct bioluminescence!

Part of the reason that I don't blacklist it. The other part being that on a rare occasion, inexplicable chemiluminescence can be cool.

Yeah, regardless of the way this tag is going to be handled in the future, there's no reason to avoid keeping them all in the same place. So approved alias luminescence, luminescent -> glowing.
