Reason: Tsurime and tareme eyes are tags that are quite underpopulated on this site, given the abundance of kemono content. They refer to whether eyes drawn in anime style are droopy and rounded or sharp and pointed and are usually indicative of how a character is portrayed.

The "me" in tsurime means "eyes", so aliasing the tag to tsurime_eyes is indeed redundant, but the reason I list the alias that way is because I feel many people who don't know what tsurime and tareme eyes are will be confused by one-word tags with no indicator of what they represent. Adding the _eyes to the end will make it easier to identify and utilize.

I plan to go through a bunch of posts and populate these tags, and I also plan to create wiki pages for them.

This seems rather vague. Would something like post #3320903 be considered "droopy and rounded" or "sharp and pointed"? A lot of eyes could be interpreted as either rounded or pointy depending on the viewer's reference. Just having an angry expression could result in otherwise rounded eyes getting more sharp and pointy, with no clear delineation for when it becomes one of the other. The names "tsurime(_eyes)" and "tareme(_eyes)" also seem very obscure, that the vast majority of people will likely have no idea what they are, let alone remember which one is which, let alone tag them. While I'm not the most weebiest of weebs, I'm not unfamiliar with anime and manga, and I've never heard the terms before.

my idea was that the tags would be most often applied to posts that were either textbook examples of the tag or at least very similar. though i do understand where you're coming from with the fact that a character changing expressions would obscure which is the correct tag to use, i still think it could work for images where a character doesn't change expressions or at least has one set of eyes as their "default" expression.
as for the post you linked, i'd say the eyes started out as tareme and finished as tsurime, but again, i can definitely see how that would complicate things and potentially create tag bloat. however, i'd like to reemphasize that, ideally, this tag would be used for kemono posts or posts with similar art styles that clearly demonstrate examples of tsurime or tareme.

on second thought, looking through kemono, i really don't see any clear-cut examples of tsurime or tareme; at a glance, most of the eyes don't fall into either category. maybe these tags really would be better off left alone?
