The bulk update request #2358 is active.

create alias malexmale (0) -> male/male (489506)
create alias malexfemale (0) -> male/female (650503)
create alias femalexmale (0) -> male/female (650503)
create alias femalexfemale (0) -> female/female (99872)

Reason: The incorrect forms of all these tags have a long history of use on this site. malexmale is a particularly common mistake, but I found entries in the changes history for all three of the others too.

Relatedly, in topic #32987 there was a suggestion of getting rid of them:

This is fine if that's not going to happen, but these extra aliases will create more work to do it.

I mean Male x Male is pretty unambiguously referring to an actual pairing, not a sexuality.
