Reason: Legendary Pokémon are a group of Pokémon species. The current implication is too broad.

Uh, why are you also de-implicating a bunch of actual Pokémon species from pokémon_(species)?

EDIT: NVM, they all imply legendary_pokémon so the extra implication is redundant after this BUR.

Although, people have brought up that legendary_pokémon doesn't really work for TWYS, similar to baby_pokémon, and it's not really useful for searching since it contains a wide variety of otherwise unrelated species (we don't tag fire_type_pokémon, even though fire type pokémon generally have fire- or heat-related themes to their design, unlike legendaries which can be as varied as any pokémon), and people have wondered if it maybe should go away. I don't know if it will (I doubt it), but maybe it's worth keeping the individual species implicating pokémon_(species) regardless. It would also avoid special-casing some pokémon to not implicate pokémon_(species), because of some other implication making another implication, making it not obvious if pokémon_(species) is implied.

In any case, those de-implications were silently added after I voted, and I don't think I agree with the added de-implications. I think it's worth reiterating one of the things I brought up in topic #30350, to auto-clear votes when a BUR is edited.

Oh, I absolutely agree with this. fossil_pokémon is a particular pet peeve of mine.

There is something more to legendary and fossil than there is to fire or water.

I just want them to drop the accented E so it works with wildcards.

Nah, there really isn't. Creator Of All Time And Space does not belong in the same category as This Random Hedgehog We Found In A Field.

I dunno, they both look fairly generic to me; however they're both fairly exclusive pokemon only available under special circumstances, gaining popularity through rarity.
Fossil Pokemon aren't rare, but are the pokemon equivelant of revived dinosaurs, which makes them a subject of appreciation.

More traditional concepts, like "Pikachu is a rodent" are just as easily lost as its typing, unlike pokemon that are intended to be very exclusive to events and plotpoints.
