I still find it pretty insane how quickly both Nick & Judy took over the fandom. If I remember correctly, in another thread someone made an external e621 stats graph, and of course Nick & Judy were at the top (excluding MLP) but what shocked me the most was that the majority of their posts were actually SFW

Undyne, only female scalie character I can think of off the top of my head.

I know of Artica Sparkle, but lately I haven't seen much art of her. Cynder is pretty low on the pole, but that might be because she's a dragon, not technically a furry.

I do not prented to beat the Market... but I personally prefer characters that are not "mode", but are mostly drawn by artists that provide quality...

Sorry to say it (for @secret_possum, and others) but I don't find characters inspired in many species groups, like most marsupials, rodents or lagomorphs (e.g. J. Hopps) sexy at all ... with only few exceptions...

And I wanted to make a thread about how large (in monetary terms) the Furry Art Market is ... because he told me, that even when it is much larger (o so it seems) commissions for Anime / Games art, have much lower prices in average.

But I don't know if I will have the time to start develop properly that theme (... and if someone is interested... )

There’s R63 of every major furry character. There are male drawings of Judy, and that doesn’t disqualify her. Personally, I would consider Renamon to be a character, regardless of the site’s categorization. Her 18,000+ posts would put her in second place. The vast majority of those are most likely based on the actual character from the anime rather than meant to be a different character of the same species. I guess we won’t have any official numbers, though, given Renamon’s current status as a species without any counterpart character tag.

She’s a fish, which is not considered scalie on this site. Many people do consider fish to be scalies anyway, so she’s on the fence at best. Still worsening her case is the fact that she’s usually tagged as a fish_humanoid rather than an anthro, so she’s in questionably-scalie territory regardless. As far as Undertale characters go, Alphys is the most popular unambiguously scalie anthro female with just shy of 4,000 posts (3,911 as of writing) compared to Undyne’s 4,770.
