Topic: Tag for this pose?

Posted under Tag Alias and Implication Suggestions

As far as I know, we don't really have many pose-based tags other than 'pose', 'standing', and 'sitting', etc., though there may be others I'm unaware of. o.o/

There's actually a ton. You can find most of them under tag_group:pose.

This one doesn't seem to be on there though and I'm not sure what I'd call it anyways. (it's not exactly standing on one foot). The only other things I can think of are hand_on_knee/hand_on_thigh, but that isn't really what they were intended to do.

To be quite honest, I have had my eye out for a tag for that exact pose for ages. I kept expecting to run into it but haven't yet. So I'm not sure we have one. Does anyone know if there's a term for that pose in real life? reminds me of how people stand when they're planting a flag on a mountain top or memorialized for it in a monument afterwards. I know they sometimes end up tagged with on_one_leg but because they're clearly still standing on both legs (just at two different elevations) means that variations on on_one_leg don't really fit for that. But it would be good to have a tag for that pose since it's fairly common.

Hell, we could just call it step_pose since it looks like they're posing in the middle of taking a step. Would that make sense to everyone?

I think step_pose is a perfect term for it. I don't think that it would get confused with walking or anything (though I wouldn't be surprised).

Ah! Great minds think alike! I originally tagged it as "stepping" XD
