It literally shows anything that has any word related to "atom" and "cat" in it at the same time, it's ridiculous. The words dont even have to be next to eachother, they can be in completely different sentences. Any way to avoid this??

I can't use the comment search feature either

Try creating a more unique username, like your old one.
Yeah but I made this username to be consistent with other usernames I have on the internet that I've had for several years, because I'm uploading my art here now.
I'd recommend trying to remove the space, but both variants are taken, so you can't use AtomiCat or AtomicCat. Neither of these accounts appear to have been used, but I don't know what the stance is on such accounts.

Can I try and take the usernames? they've never been used and I believe you can dispute to claim them, can't you? How do I go about doing that?

If you're talking about searching for your name in comments the search functions been ceborked for a while, the way I make it work is through URL manipulation

They are talking about searching for people mentioning their username, not for their own comments.
It's useful for when you are trying to find people responding to you. But alas, does not work terribly well with generic usernames.

That doesn't work for "Search for myself in comments".
search[body_matches]=Atomic_Cat
search[results]=exact
I tried replacing the underscore with a * wild card, %20, +, and more. Nothing worked so far.

They do sometimes let people swap to a username if it's taken by an unactivated account, and given AtomicCat is unactivated you could message an admin to ask about it. You can either message them through E6 with the "send message" at the top of their profiles or post in the E6 discord's helpdesk channel, which often gets a faster response, plus you can talk in real time rather than waiting between messages.

I've tried both, still no response yet for either.
