Topic: herm/gynomorph wrong tagged?

Posted under Tag/Wiki Projects and Questions

Hi.
When you search for "herm -pussy", there are plenty of wrong tagged images. A lot with the obvious missing pussy tag and a lot tagged with "gynomorph" and "herm" related to the same character. If I understand the how to tag genders page correctly. Herm and gynomorph are separated by the factor "female primary sex organs" and can't be applied to the same character, right? (No "pussy"/"uterus" tag = no herm) in my understanding. (I have in mind: there are cases where are a female and a herm or a female and a gynomorph character could be in one picture)

Here are three gynomorph characters and no visible vagina = -herm +gynomorph
post #2658049

According to TWYS one gynomorph and one female character.
But the white wolf is herm = -herm +gynomorph +lore_(herm)
(both searched with "herm -pussy")

I just want to ask before I start editing these tags. Gender can be a topic

As far as I understand, that is correct. If there's breasts, a penis, and no visible pussy, it gets tagged gynomorph. If there's a penis and a pussy visible on the same character, it's a herm (and if there's a penis, pussy, and no breasts, it's a maleherm; though that may be wrong, it might be more dependent on a masculine body structure over breasts specifically).

You are correct.

It's just that e621's gender definitions are very precise - herm refers to a feminine character with both a penis and a vagina, while gynomorph is a feminine character with a penis, but without a vagina.
Unfortunately, not everyone checks the tag definitions and the gender guide before tagging. Other tag characters based on lore, not on what is actually in the image.

A good place to start cleaning up would be solo gynomorph pussy. It's either not a gynomorph, not a pussy, or not solo.

Yeah. That's the reason why I ask here. To be sure, I don't overlook something obvious. I have my experience with not checking definitions and the gender guide correctly... I was ranting about some admins, a few years ago, even though they were right. Thinking about it is embarrassing ^^'
