Reason: Some tag stuff focused around the icon tag.

Other than looking at the wiki descriptions for avatar_material and icon. From the way it looks, I'm guessing avatar_material are essentially icons with a 1:1 aspect ratio. I can also edit the BUR if folks feel like avatar_material should be aliased to icon instead.

It appears that the vast majority of avatar_material tagging was done by one user: https://e621.net/post_versions?search[tags_added]=avatar_material
It's possible that they just did not know that the icon tag existed?

I agree with this BUR in principle. I'm just not sure if there needs to be another tag that can safely be replaced by icon 1:1 and icon ratio:1.

+1 for alias avatar_material -> icon, I also agree with the current principle of the BUR
