There are some social topics sometimes which get locked. They seem rather well behaved. So I don't know why and just wanted to know.

If it's the admin one on the second page, that s for obvious reasons. But if it is the vore one on this page? I dunno. Too much info I guess? But then again talking about vore in a fairly academic is no worse that talking about favourites in the "Failures of rule 34" thread. Seems like an odd choice to lock

Probably because the vore thread had no responses for nearly a month before someone posed in it yesterday, so they considered it necro’d, I imagine.

Nah, the "how-you-feel-about-this-kink" threads usually end with them burning to the ground with heated debates and arguments. Particularly with cub or similar.
My own thread got shut down a couple months back, even though it wasn't targeted to a particular kink.

So the admins would want to shut it down as soon as possible, or when they feel that enough points have been raised.

If a thread turns into TMI it will get locked before I need to bring out records.

It looks like it was not necroing. So it was better that you post something which was not unnecessary IMO. I was happy to take part in it ;D
I would've even liked to see more of it actually :)

I'm also not that long here and would trust your judgement at the moment but were there many threads which did go on like this and got ugly afterwards?
