Topic: Bandannas, Headkerchiefs, and Neckerchiefs

Posted under Tag Alias and Implication Suggestions

I've tried to put this into a bulk update request, but I don't know how to format it so that it parses, so I'm dumping it here in the hopes that someone with more experience understands what I'm trying to get at.

-"Bandanna" currently implies "kerchief". The bandanna wiki states that kerchief is another name for "bandanna"; thus, kerchief should be an alias to bandanna as opposed to an implication of it.

-The bandanna wiki states that when tied around the head, a bandanna is also a headkerchief, and around the neck, a neckerchief. "Headkerchief" and "neckerchief" currently imply kerchief, but since kerchief is now an alias (assuming the above argument stands) they should instead imply bandanna.

-"Handkerchief" currently implies "kerchief". According to its wiki, a handkerchief "cannot be worn like a bandanna" and is instead "used for light cleaning". A handkerchief is not a bandanna, so it is not a kerchief, either; thus, handkerchief should not imply kerchief.

I do not entirely know whether aliasing kerchief to bandanna results in a paradox; Headkerchief and neckerchief will no longer imply kerchief, but if kerchief is an alias for bandanna, then headkerchief and neckerchief won't imply that, either.

Please help me review these arguments--I am well aware of how unnecessarily complicated I made them and would appreciate any and all advice on condensing them.

The wikis for those tags haven't been fixed to reflect the actual clothing relationships. Bandanna was mistakenly described as being the same thing as a kerchief. It is a kerchief, but the terms are not interchangeable.

Does "cravat" get implied as a "kerchief"? Since "cravats" are kinda ttying a "kerchief" around your neck.
