Eh I don't know, tags are kinda Library Style, first word excluding "a, an, or the". Makes it a bit easier and faster for tagging IMHO and we already get what it's referencing even without its full title.

That's actually what aliasing them will do. Right now if someone types it with the "the" and someone else tags it without the "the" it'll be treated like two different tags. But after it's aliased, you'll be able to type both of those ways and it will treat it like the same tag. Which is useful for all the reasons you just mentioned. Since both ways of typing it are currently being tagged, it'll be good to alias them so that no matter which way someone types it in it'll show the same tag and the same results under it. Because they really should be treated as the same tag regardless if the "the" is included. To humans it's obvious, but computers need to be told.

I agree with the alias by the way.

@furrypickle Ah okay that makes a ton more sense, I was under the impression that aliasing a tag had it override the other tag, I feel like an idiot now. I should have remembered what aliasing ment as I work with email servers all the time and understand its meaning >_>
