It currently says that grabbing through clothing may be rated lower. (Preeeeetty sure that wasn't there last time I checked the wiki entry, but that's neither here nor there.) What I want to know is, under what circumstances can grabbing through clothing be rated lower? I'd assume it would be if the grabbing was unintentional, but that's listed separately...plus, you know what they say it does when you assume...

Well, then, that confirms that it wasn't in the last time I'd checked the wiki. But...it doesn't really answer my bigger question. And I know Genjar's not staff (not last time I checked, anyway...), but he seems to know what he's talking about in terms of tags, more often than not...

Fair enough.

But can we get somebody who does know, to answer? Or...was Genjar just in error, in adding that to the wiki entry?

I assume that entry is for cases seen in anime where the protagonist accidentally gropes a character's breasts by mistake or a character that doesn't think it is sexual or uncomfortable to touch people in sensitive areas and is suggesting that these types of scenarios should be tagged questionable instead.
- I'm probably not describing it very well.
~ I want to state that if a scenario is allowed in an anime scene (not hentai), then it doesn't need to be rated explicit. Breast groping and other perverted actions would fall under this category.

• I am seeing a lot of posts that are more lewd than that tagged questionable when I search for breast_grab or breast_fondling.
• I vaguely remember a forum discussion involving this topic and it was the reason the wiki got modified, but I can't find it.
• I realized gore is an exception to my rule of thumb.

The anime example would fall under "accidental," which-as I've stated-is already listed, as its own separate reason for lessening the rating.

The line is basically stating that grabbing breasts through clothing is treated under a different standard as exposed breasts.

Groping is going to be sexual in some way almost always.

• The act of groping is sexual, but the overall theme isn't sexual.

It just seems to clarify that images featuring clothed characters are more likely to be questionable scenes than those without clothes. It doesn't clarify if images can imply sexual themes and still be questionable.

Although there are exposed breast sexual posts that have been on here for many years and no one has felt it was necessary to raise the red flags about them. I wonder if it makes a difference whether breast_grab + looking_pleasured on its own is rated explicit or questionable. They are probably erring on the side of caution to keep sex implied scenes explicit.
