Topic: Tag Alias: mona_lisa -> mona_lisa_(disambiguation)

Aliasing mona_lisa → mona_lisa_(disambiguation)
Link to alias

Reason:

mona_lisa_(artwork) for traditional painting. + mona_lisa_(tmnt). Noticed fair amount of overlap between mona_lisa tag and mona_lisa_(artwork) tag:

Five posts tagged with mona_lisa (type character )
Ten posts tagged with mona_lisa_(artwork) (type copyright )

Both tags seem to include same types of Mona_Lisa depictions.

Four posts tagged with both: mona_lisa_(artwork) mona_lisa
One post tagged with just mona_lisa: -mona_lisa_(artwork) mona_lisa
Six posts tagged with just mona_lisa_(artwork) : -mona_lisa mona_lisa_(artwork)

Other Mona_Lisa* tags:

82 mona_lisa_(tmnt) character
3 mona_lisa_(tmnt_2012) character
2 mona_lisa_taylor character

EDIT: The tag alias mona_lisa -> mona_lisa_(disambiguation) (forum #260265) has been rejected by @bitWolfy.

Was thinking about the Mona Lisa painting, so looked through mona_lisa posts, and they all seem to be for the painting.

Ok to re-tag those with mona_lisa_(artwork) tag???

I ask because neither mona_lisa NOR mona_lisa_(artwork) have an associated wiki. (plus alias above was rejected)

mona_lisa : 11 posts
mona_lisa_(artwork) : 40 posts

re: possibly re-trying for mona_lisa_(disambiguation) tag:

e621's mona_lisa* tags:

40 . . . mona_lisa_(artwork)
2 . . . mona_lisa_taylor (a female character of kabangeh )
175 . . . mona_lisa_(tmnt)
15 . . . mona_lisa_(idw_tmnt)
9 . . . mona_lisa_(tmnt_2012)

+1 to disambiguation
But i'm not sure if the _(artwork) suffix is a good idea. It's been dominated by ways the artwork was made
We can't really turn to other famous paintings for an example on what to do, since they don't have or need any. I guess we could use *_(painting)

If we go with a copyright tag: mona_lisa_(painting) seems a reasonable way to go (Since death_dealer_(painting) via above link is a good equivalent.)

edit: actually, (to escape potential inertia) doing strike-thru on the suggestion below.

If we go with a character tag: how about mona_lisa_(leonardo_da_vinci) ??
Since original painting by Leonardo da Vinci.
(and there doesn't seem to be a consensus on which woman is depicted in the Mona Lisa painting.

The bulk update request #9774 is active.

create alias mona_lisa (11) -> mona_lisa_(disambiguation) (0)
change category mona_lisa_(disambiguation) (0) -> invalid
create alias mona_lisa_(artwork) (8) -> mona_lisa_(painting) (33)
change category mona_lisa_(painting) (33) -> copyright

Reason: Various mona_lisa_* tags at e621:

40 . . . mona_lisa_(artwork)
2 . . . mona_lisa_taylor (a female character of kabangeh )
175 . . . mona_lisa_(tmnt)
15 . . . mona_lisa_(idw_tmnt)
9 . . . mona_lisa_(tmnt_2012)

(optional: read earlier in this forum thread)

(disambiguation tag category to invalid, since ambiguous isn't a category)
mona_lisa_(painting) tag to copyright category ... since tags such as death_dealer_(painting) in copyright category.

Thought about doing update instead of alias for mona_lisa_(artwork) ->,
but unlikely there will be an art medium named Mona Lisa.

EDIT: The bulk update request #9774 (forum #425357) has been approved by @spe.
