Implicating guitar saxophone piano lyre cello tambourine sousaphone flute trumpet violin drums trombone -> musical_instrument

Reason: Their all classed musical instruments even tho they are classified as different types aka percussion, wind, electronic and keyboard instruments. Not sure about this, but it would put all listed instruments under one classification or would it be better to make the different classified types then have them implement musical instrument?

Seems fine to me.
Few more for the list: drum (singular) xylophone bass accordion clarinet harp electric_guitar whistle (if that counts as an instrument. It's in the wikipedia list, but...)

Also sitar tuba harmonica keytar and ocarina

Most of these look like there won't be any other coflicts, but what about:

• bass - Could be a bass guitar, double bass, or the fish. Looks like it's being used for the guitar, for the most part
• whistle - can refer to the act of whistling (post #22244) or the really annoying thing (post #281906)
• guitar - can refer to an electric guitar, or acoustic guitar (no tags) 1 tag

Suggestions-

• Use bass_guitar instead of bass and implicate it to guitar
• Use electric guitar and acoustic_guitar, and implicate them both to guitar which in turn gets implicated to musical_instrument i.e.

I get the guitar thing, but is a whistle a musical instrument? Another one to add harmonica. clarinet could do like the guitar and and be clarinet implies flute.

Drums also seems a bit ambiguous:

• There's the drum kit/drum set (post #310926), snare drum (post #241993), bass drum, cymbal* (post #241993), and tom-tom drums (no tags)
• There are also the more traditional drums, like in post #237627
• There are also the tags drum and drums themselves

No, a clarinet may be in the same family as a flute (woodwinds) but it is never, under any circumstance, a flute.

and on the subject of modern context, wouldn't certain equipment such as turntables and whatever modern dj's use be musical instruments.
I've seen 2 turntables and a microphone before that could be easily classified as instruments.

That would be cool since their is already computer_mouse tag and would mean the same thing. But the musical keyboard. Would be more a like a electronic keyboard or digital keyboard? But which ever, I'm ok with it.

computer_keyboard seems like a good match for computer_mouse, but I'm not sure about the musical keyboards.

Wikipedia lumps all keyboard instruments under that term, including pianos, keytars, accordions, organs and synthesizers. Maybe a more specific tag such as electronic_keyboard would be better?

How about this tag bow_(stringed_instrument) would be aliased into musical instrument or cleaned up into its separate instruments?
