This artist had a LOT of pony works up on their IB though ended up scrubbing them and starting over.

However, after contacting them, they have notified me that they are NOT on the e621 DNP list and, in fact, are trying to re-find their lost artworks.

I know this isn't much to go on, but you can leave them a shout on their IB page and you'll get the confirmation you need.

They deleted their old stuff but want it back now? Interesting. From the look of it, they have a nice style, so I hope they find it.

They're not on the DNP list, so I don't see how this is a thing.

While I do appreciate you reaching out I'm afraid my position is firm. I appreciate you honoring my wishes but I don't desire to have my art on a gallery that I myself do not manually control, and I'm afraid that there have been too many abuses of both users and the previous admin for me to feel comfortable with allowing my work posted there. Use of my real, legal name tagged and posted without my permission in juxtaposition with porn I drew in my younger stupider years I no longer wish to have anywhere did not sit well with me and I'm afraid I have to take an all or nothing approach on this to minimize future problems.

Thank you for your continued understanding in keeping me on the DNP list.

might be a second doppelgaenger.... Names are retarded and duplicatable , especially in a fandom where everyone has the exact same name.

Yeah, I'm sure this is the case. OP mentions doppelgaenger made tons of pony art, Thornwolf has made none.

This would in fact be the case.

The Dopplegaenger I have pointed out has never gone by any other name.

Perhaps what we need to do then is replace "doppelgaenger" with "doppelgaenger_(thornwolf)" on the relevant images, and take "doppelgaenger" off of the DNP list (and create an implication from "doppelgaenger_(thornwolf)" to "avoid_posting"). Might not be a terribly elegant solution, but I think it's more likely that this new doppelgaenger's artwork will be uploaded a lot more often than the one on the blacklist currently.

Wouldn't be easier to change it to just Thornwolf? And then update Thornwolf's wiki with relevant information?

Either one is a viable option. I'm seeing some of these images being posted here and there on e621 now.
