Topic: What's the consensus on human-only pictures?

Posted under General

A shitstorm seems to be brewing here: http://e621.net/post/show/314093/all_fours-ayumi_shinozaki-big_butt-black_hair-bloo

like anyone should be surprised by that.

It would make sense to include furry pictures with a human character *in* the picture, but not a human only picture with no furry/scalie/etc. in it.

Anyway, it's a human only picture, and it *is* already flagged for deletion, but I wanted to get a real official answer on the subject.

E: oh neat, it got deleted.

No, I mean what is the admin decision as far as them being on the site. Are they allowed, not allowed, or what?

Not furry pictures can be deleted by admin for any reason, but you're not supposed to flag them. Flagging is for something that admins could missed like duplicates or DNP. Every picture need to be approved by admin anyway, so they're going to see them, and judge whether it should stay or not. So flagging "not furry" is just spam.

And this is not a shitstorm. This is a shitstorm.

Site rules are here:

Off-topic images and any potential fallout from posting them are subject to the whims of the moderators. In other words, don't post non-furry art if you aren't okay with it being deleted.

HAHAHA! You are right, that is one hell of a shit-storm

Well the one I posted definitely had potential. :P

Anyway, I can't really see why the image I linked made it past the admins..

It didn't make it past anyone. It hadn't even been approved yet.

And the consensus is, don't post art without furry characters in it if you don't want it deleted.

Can we make it so that we can still see the comments of a deleted image? I missed that shitstorm.

It wasn't a shitstorm so much as it was a slightly overcast shitcloud.

Yeah it actually wasn't so bad. I just had the potential to get worse if someone didn't deal with it.
