I'm looking for people who would be interested in helping me translate some smut from a variety of places. At the moment I only have two in mind (A doujin I've acquired and a story from pixiv). A secondary kinda goal is having a "translator person" I can go to for future requests as well.

However, the catch is... I like weird things, so I am looking for someone who doesn't really mind translating that sort of content.

You should define the level of "help" you seek. Free or paid? When you say "helping me translate", does that mean you intend to do the bulk of the translating yourself and just want someone more experienced to correct your mistakes? If you are in fact looking for someone to be at your beck and call to translate your porn in its entirety without compensation, I hope you are very aware how much time and money a professional would need for the same service. You'll have to forgive my skepticism when you've worded your request with the same level of ambiguity I would expect from people asking for free art.

In any event, you may find what you seek from Little White Butterflies. If you want translation assistance, you should consider submitting an application or asking around. Failing that, you should try getting into contact with whoever has translated Japanese works that you like with acceptable quality. Just look up the names the translators have attached to those works, especially their groups' names.

Regardless of any reply, I have no further contribution. I've already shared what small information I know about this topic.

Fair enough, I suppose it could be considered vague. And those are fair concerns.

I'm not too familiar with how porn translation works, but I intended to do all the editing myself. It seems entirely easy to do that portion. I was just looking for flat translations of the text in the doujin and of course the short story translated.

My intention was to discuss terms with anyone interested and okay with the content I chose. For the record, this would be the kind of content that usually grosses people out -- stink/musk play and other unusual fetishes that vary depending on the piece.

As for pay vs. no pay, maybe it would be case-by-case, maybe I could do coloring/editing for them in return, or maybe I'd flat out pay. Any of these work for me! I was simply interested in finding someone first.

I also didn't want to go around harassing translators that may not be interested. Plus, I honestly don't even know where to begin.

I don't know any Japanese beyond the recognition of certain words and I hadn't heard of her before I found her via Google search, so I can't say for sure how accurate her translations are and just put my faith in her.

I paid her to translate Newlyweds Bears. She found it a bit odd that I asked if she'd have a problem with translating a book focusing on furries or a fat couple, both of which I anticipated potential non fans to be bothered by.

She was also surprisingly okay with translating Toro Ana Chika 6.5-kai, a book that involves Stigaya's trademark of having thin human women being raped and cum into by and force fed cum from orc men to fatten them up and transform them into completely willing, sex addicted orc women.

I don't know how she'd react to what you're into, but if she's willing to translate the above, especially the latter, she might be worth checking out.

I appreciate that recommendation! Though, sakurane gives chrome a warning about phishing so I'm concerned :s
