Also, we need to talk about the apocalypse tag. The current description overlaps with the use of post-apocalyptic, so maybe it should be changed and only used for currently occurring apocalypses? ...or do we have any other applicable tags for that?

I already copied the apocalypse wiki to post-apocalyptic, since it applies better to that one.

I think Apocalypse should just alias to post. Really, there's no way to tell "it's currently an apocalypse happening," anything that could look like it's happening would be more of destruction, explosions, or other related things.

I wonder if we should use a tag like Doom_wave, naming it after the apocalypse you run from in Dino Run? (If you haven't, you should give that game a look)
