Reason:

Cocksleeve is shorter, and I prefer the sound of it.

My first thought when you wrote "masturbation_sleeve" was not cocksleeve, it was something much more gross. But maybe I spend too much time on reddit, where "cumbox" is an in joke.

On the alias, I'm OK with it, but I rarely use either term so I'm not exactly knowledgeable in the area.

Personally against it for a variety of reasons.

I never heard cocksleeve being used outside of niche porn, mostly with the penetrated person being barely as big as the penetrating penis.
Possible confusion with 'penis sleeve' (Wiki: "A penis sleeve is a cylindrical device that is placed on the shaft of the penis, with the aim of increasing stimulation for the person being penetrated. They often have soft bumps intended to provide further stimulation.").
I remember most people using onahole, but that is very likely biased observation on my part and a bigger prevalence of those in Japanese culture than in western culture.
Fleshlight may be a specific brand but it sounds better than cocksleeve.

Joking aside, there isn't really have a generic term for these (like dildo) since they have a relatively small market. I didn't know about the penis sleeves though. I'd be fine with cocksleeve or fleshlight as long as all of the various names (onahole, Tenga, masturbation_sleeve) were aliased/implicated to it.

Also, whatever is picked should also be implicated to sex_toy.

Most american adult toys websites simply call them "masturbators".
More specifically vagina shaped ones are sometimes called "pocket pussies", though I highly doubt anyone is carrying one around in a pocket.

For tagging I think onahole is the best option, it's the japanese term for it, a lot of the internet knows the term, and using "masturbators" would be awful and confusing.

The only other decent alternative would be "penetrable_sex_toy".

Neat, I'd never gotten a proper chance to use this one until now.

Added and approved an alias for pocket_pussy to --> penetrable_sextoy and an alias for artificial_vagina to --> penetrable_sextoy since these were also smaller tags being used for the same type of sex toy. This will help keep them all in the same spot.

I also went through cock_sleeve and about half of it was tiny characters on big cocks (basically size_difference + ridiculous_fit), while the other half was penetrable_sextoy. With a few cock_warmers scattered in as well. And that's really too mixed to send anywhere safely. So I cleaned it out and then aliased cocksleeve/cock_sleeve to --> invalid_tag.

So that finishes up the last of it.

"penetrable_sextoy" is generic enough to sidestep any and all argument about which tag is "clearest". Plus it has the not insignificant bonus of being hard to misremember once you know it, whereas you always have to remember whether the _sleeve tags are in one or two words.

Wait, why are we aliasing things like fleshlights and tenga? Those are (or should be) copyright tags, as they're company names. Their products also look a good deal different from one another--The Fleshlight has the same shape of a flashlight when sealed up, the Fleshlight Flight has a design more like an air freshener, while the Tenga has quirky little designs like bulbs and knobs.
Then there's onaholes. My god these things are not subtle at all--Either there is no casing, or the casing is designed to look specifically like what it is: a sex toy.
