Topic: "Drone" tag

Time for me to drone on about tags again
*rimshot*
Right now it's being used to refer to unmanned aerial vehicles along with hymenopterans and aliens.

I would go with the UAV definition.
Then either implicate drone -> aircraft
or alias drone -> unmanned_aerial_vehicle (I prefer this option) to prevent confusion in the future.

Updated

There are a couple kinds of drones actually.

The first is kind of invalid as a use anyways, but it will probably get mistagged every now and then.

The latter is already renamed, but might come up in the future...though it would probably fit better in your definition than the other picture.

It's not only invalid, that first one isn't even accurate. Drone refers to male hymenopterans (i.e. bees, ants, and wasps), which, in addition to, you know, being male, don't have stingers.

That tagger should be stung...

I know all about drones, be they missile-slinging remote-controlled death machines or the most pathetic colonial insects ever to live

It's obviously a bustybee dronegirl.

Come to think of it, that's not a bad idea, actually.

Drones have many characteristics that distinguish them from workers such as the lack of stingers and differently shaped eyes and bodies.
