Aliasing borelian → tetton
Link to alias

Reason:

It's a bit tough to research, as it's a fabricated species primarily drawn by a single artist who keeps little/no easily searchable documentation on such a change, but judging from the fact the artist's only locatable artwork marked as "Borelian" are from 2013 or earlier, and similarly "Tetton" is only found on artwork from 2014 or later combined with the fact that they appear to share near-if-not-exact biology leads me to believe that these are both the same species, and that Tetton is the current name. However I notice new instances of the Borelian tag have been appearing, and unless someone can confirm that they are in fact separate species it would make sense to have them all in the one searchable location.

I feel they're different due to the faces (one has a really visible nose while the other doesn't). Though, the creator is on tumblr/here, so they could always be asked about it directly.

Borelians were created as little more than a furred dragon OC I gave a name and short backstory to just for creative reasons. Tettons are an attempt at a proper species and have notable differences in appearance such as strictly natural colors, different body proportions, extra toes, larger tails, a different face, different genitals, stubbier hands, etc. As I never considered Borelians an actual, serious project I've long since given people full permission to use their likeness and my former characters, which is not the case with Tettons except for specific circumstances. I would very much not like for the two to be conflated in spite of how similar they may appear.

I would like to apologise for this.

I don't recall anyone asking me about the tag specifically, but that's alright. I should have noticed this far sooner seeing as it's been five years. I don't blame anyone for confusing the two seeing how slowly they evolved.
