So, I've been thinking that my line-up has been short of scalies and dragons for awhile now. I used to love them but they have fallen from favor in recent years to such softer-ish things like foxes and canines. I've been thinking that I'd like to add our scaled friends back into the equation. Does anyone have suggestions regarding artists who draw really good scalies/dragons? Female is preferred for this species, but male is good too.

Kajinchu's good for Pokemon in general, there's an occasional reptile in there. Skyshadow is a great dragon-specific artist. And if you're okay with the simplistic art style, Trout does a lot of scalie stuff (Mostly Kobolds).

Ymbk is good if you don't mind large breasts, Etheross is fairly tame, but Nezumi is something you may want to avoid if you don't enjoy seeing the bits get swollen.

Watch out for Etheross if you are squeamish as he's got a bit of Snake gore going on.

Guoh, Syrinoth, Vader-San

Off of the top of my head, both Kikurage and Kanevex have drawn some relatively attractive dragons.

The Secret Cave came out of nowhere two years ago, instantly became one of my favorite scalie-focused artists. Friendly guy and clearly talented.

He's also especially notable for his love of tapering cocks and slits, which is good if that's your preferred way of seeing them. I think it's awesome. Barely any artists will do slit play, he makes it a point from time to time.

Also, Improbable Joe, who I seriously only discovered a few days ago, probably because he only posts new material on SoFurry these days (and who the hell goes there for art instead of fiction primarily?) and because he's not the most fast-paced artist, anyway. This is a good collection of artists. I would just add artonis, ecmajor, lion21, nomax, and l1zardman for their scalie (and other) contributions. I also recommend finding and latching on to some preferred scalie species or characters, or franchises with a scalie bias. For instance, I like checking up on new kobold, jurassic_park, and halo_(series) submissions.
