Implicating skunk_spray → fart
Link to implication

Reason:

They are anal scent glands and serve a completely different purpose, but the result is (usually) virtually the same visually and this would prevent them from being untagged in ambiguous cases.

I haven't fleshed out the details, but this might be another option:

I would have to disagree.
Skunk spray is a liquid, and is projected up to around 9 feet from them.
Farts are gasses, not liquids, and while they may eventually drift 9 feet away, no one is shooting them that far.

Edit: Certainly wouldn't be a body gas either, as mentioned before, it's a liquid.

So strictly speaking, most of the skunks tagged with skunk_spray probably need to be retagged with fart instead?

(body_gas) I'm not sure about using this anyways, it's just the best name I could think of in a pinch.

Musk would be the most accurate term.
Pretty much all mustelids have musk glands, which give off a smell (stink).
The skunks are adapted to spray the liquid they produce, but if all that is depicted is a smelly cloud it's not skunk spray.
It would then be either the smell of the musk, or a fart being depicted.

That makes sense; thanks for the detailed answer Halite. :)

I think I'll leave those alone for now and finish going through the rest of the gas-related tags. I would have been done sooner but I ended up taking a detour through dragonrump's posting history to do a bit of a lot of cleaning.
