+1 for this.

I skimmed through the ecstasy tag and couldn't find a single use of the tag for drugs.

Reason:

Unless able to identify 'ecstasy' as the drug, too subjective to be useful as a tag.

Looks to be utilized by a certain user in lieu of / combination with orgasm.

Suggestion is to invalidate.

No sense in invalidating a tag that could be used in the future. I think I can safely say that parasprite would probably agree with me. (EDIT: Actually, I think those would be her exact words.)

I would say clean it out and change the wiki page to reflect that this should only be used to refer to the drug ecstasy.

And maybe for shits and giggles, imply ecstasy -> drugs. It may make people confused, they'll come here, we say ecstasy is to be used to identify the drug, not the emotional state, they get rid of the ecstasy tag, no invalidation of a good tag while still invalidating the crappy uses of the tag. Problem solved, only images with the actual drug will be posted under ecstasy.

We have both a drugs and an MDMA tag already, and in my admittedly limited experience, it would be difficult to differentiate the drug ecstasy from just about any other pill, or sometimes even a hard candy.

If dealing with ecstacy drug use, we even have the tag euphoria that might be applicable, if somewhat difficult to quantify.

Every image I have scanned thru, ecstasy is being used to tag a feeling, and in just about every case I think it could be replaced by either (or in many cases, both) orgasm or orgasm_face.

In general I do not like tagging anything but the most basic and obvious feels, as they are difficult (many would say impossible) to quantify, and the more abstract the emotion, the more difficult it is to tag accurately, and the less important to tag at all.

After noticing that most of it was tagged on muscular m/m posts, I figured out that it was almost entirely all one person tagging it. Since the last post tagged with it was about a year ago, I'd have to say that this probably isn't an issue anymore and I'm going to leave the tag as is.
