@W0LFB3AT5: sorry to hear that. I hope you get well soon.

Just follow the doctors orders, take your medication on time, and follow a regiment. Maybe iodine regiment could help. The symptoms with the meds should go away in a month.

Wish you the best

I just got my test results from my physical today.

Doctor told me I have hypothyroidism. So now I need to take levothyroxine pills to help treat my enlarged thyroid, and to help avoid the risk of cancer.

On a fucking Mothers Day, too. :(

@vex714: I would but I'm not sure if I should put ointment that close to my eye.
Tis but flesh wound, I'm just glad I had enough trigger discipline to not fire when my hand went to my eye and you know potentially die.

I got hit in the eye with a 45. caliber shell yesterday and just saw I have a burn on my eyelid.
My eyepro was riding low and the shell got caught behind them ironically making it worse.

@Sharp_Coyote: I was thinking of going down to a 4-cylinder due to the outrageous gas prices. I wonder if this same process could be applicable to a motor bike? I'm a truck guy, but I was just wondering.

I'll try not to get too addicted to the rush >:3

I’m surprised Tom Holland was able to do a disclaimer for the new Spider-Man Far from Home movie.

...

That ain’t like him. Hmmm... -3-

@Sharp_Coyote:

Fascinating, this'll be something to look into. Thank you for the advice.

You could be a mechanic. Make $$$.

@vex714: turbo (and super)chargers force additional air into an engine, above what atmospheric pressure does. More air, so more fuel can be injected=more power. Every PSI of 'boost' is 1PSI above atmospheric pressure being forced in.

In response to blip #92896

@Sharp_Coyote: I can most definitely feel the difference in how the vehicle just "go" between modern and a classic. The Goldwood Impala we used to own was something else compared to a Camry.

Did you install the boost controller yourself or a mechanic?

In response to blip #92895

@Sharp_Coyote: ahh ok, so it's for a quicker response from the throttle. I didn't know about cars motors being operated via an internal computer. Though it makes sense to me because how else would diagnostic car readers work?

Thanks for explaining.

In response to blip #92860

@vex714: vehicles since the mid-2000s have no physical connection between the go pedal and the engine; the computer operates a motor on the throttle body which decides how much air gets in. Makes programming for traction control easier: just cut power.

In response to blip #92860

@vex714: this one is a little more advanced, in that it also does the same for the accelerator pedal sensor, and forces the computer to open the throttle body more quickly, improving throttle response.

@Odisaodi: also, by the time I got to highschool, the computer got less colorful and became more, devoid of something. Kinda like going from Fairy world to Pixie world from in Fairly Odd Parents.

@Odisaodi: whaaaat? You've never seen one irl? Now I feel like a grandpa T-T

They were pretty fun at the time.

Nothing like going to the computer lab on the week right before summer. Teacher gave us Otter pops and we knew we'd soon be free.

@Kemonophonic: we had a handful of g3s in the 5 different colors available back then, including the bondi blue here and there. all the other computers were powermac g3 all-in-ones. we didn't get dell blackboxes in school until i was 12-13.

In response to blip #92884

@Ratte: you knew how it was. Damn there were fights in elementary. We were dumb duking it out in the bathrooms. Mostly wrestling really, I wanted to be Stone Cold Steve Austin.

Where'd the g3s go? Landfills? Somebody got the idea to make fish tanks.

In response to blip #92868

@Ratte: when I started, there was still Yahoo Messanger and it had those talking animations. In school we had these transparent colored IMac G3s with MacOS 9.2. Played Kid Pics in school. Old yes, but it was pretty impressive to our underdeveloped brains.

@Kemonophonic: i distinctly remember it was a specific project in 3rd grade about fish and it was an assistant/aide's idea to get us to try using a search engine for it. other than the occasional enchantedlearning things we didn't go online often.

@cpt_battleship_haha8:
have to agree with the above posts... welcome to the new boring e621 were you cant be entertained in comments or look for lol comments any more

My brain is so freaking fried, and I can't even relax while watching hulu cause of the 80 second long ads every 5 minutes lol. Anyone got a better way of watching stuff thats not netflix and hulu? (For context I'm really just trying to watch JoJoBA)

@vex714: Yo, that was impressively well played out! I kinda imagined all of that in my head till you posted that image. Lol!

@Samael_Morningstar: You’ve got a great friend that helps you out. And it’s good you both do a fair share.
