    Vulfy, I both love, and find it difficult to believe (yet still love!) that your new job is somehow /less/ painful.

    In Canada, at least, yer parent company does not seem to be improving much (still have at least double the reported injury rate, and double again the serious injury rate, above the national averages) :O

    I was a Union worker. But being a union worker at a military base is shit. The pay is great, by the physical labor is horrible. And complaining to HR is like complaining to kindergartners. They don’t or excuse me, hardly reply, they don’t keep their promise, and the union managers treat workers like soldiers. Now I’m all about discipline, but treating your workers like Marines is no way to motivate workers. I’ve done it for 10 years. It’s painful.

    My mind is trying to recall a memory, but something’s very off.

    It’s a very fleeting moment of an event suddenly flashing halfway, then disappearing just as quickly. At first, I thought I was just trying to remember an interesting story podcast, or maybe a movie I watched a few Years ago. However, something just doesn’t feel right. The events are all different, and incredibly familiar, but also don’t match any feelings that reality (or fiction) have ever given me. It’s like a different energy and essence altogether. Even now, small chunks keep flashing across my mind, and it bothers me, since I can’t hold onto it. I could’ve just shrugged it off as one of those things where your mind almost remembers something familiar, then it never happens again for the next Month or so, but it’s been happening all Day and Night! This has never happened before, and it’s not stopping! Has anyone gotten anything like this before? If you have, please tell me!

    If only I could have dreams that didn't just devolve into grotesque incomprehensible nightmares that somehow "leak" into reality when I'm suddenly woken out of bed and left wondering if I'm actually awake or not.

    I love that I am going to be unemployed for a month

    for having not only stood up to bullying in the workplace, for having reported bullying in the workplace.

    I am literally being forced into the impossible situation of having to return to work with a bully who knows I have outed them

    or taking a leave of absence

    as they are a manager, and can do no wrong.



    Gotta love corporate HR departments.
