The droid on the cover is holding the blaster sideways.

@vex714: ...except of course for that old HMP model that had a B1 with two straight arms for no reason. That was weird..

@vex714: I mean, it's classic, sure, but it's also outdated. But if you really miss it there's always a couple spare arms with sets so you can always just make one yourself. And if they're piloting something they still usually have both arms like that
