Friend: "I just got an 8K TV"
Me: "Why?"
Friend: "Dude, it's the future, we gotta keep up."
Me: "Dude, there are currently zero shows or movies that are in 8K until like a couple years from now."
Friend: "Oh..."

@TheHuskyK9: it's crazy i tells ya!
4k has been around for a bit and there's some movies out there but it's like come on man, again? I'm still using my 1080P Panasonic from 2011. I can at least connect my tower to the tv via hdmi so I don't need cable.
@vex714: @TheHuskyK9: Im no video guru but I thought the human eye can only really detect clarity up to HD 1080p. Am I wrong? Cause If thats true I dont see the point even for a 4k screen.
