@Mairo: Hi, I have a question about image quality. If there are two identical-looking images, one of them a higher-res .jpg and the other a lower-res .png, which one do I upload?

    @g273435d: quick and dirty answer is: higher quality.
    If the JPG is much higher resolution and not too compressed, so that there's more detail compared to PNG, it can be higher quality, but in many cases PNG still wins.
