You seriously could use maps on your phone for offline use? I've been using maps online since I got my car.

I'm sorry, I don't mean to sound like I'm mental challenged, but is it built in the phone for offline?

@W0LFB3AT5: Built in. Open maps, click the 3 bars in the top left, scroll down to "offline maps". Follow the instructions and select the map area you want, zoom as needed. Repeat for all areas. Wait for download to finish. Done.

Obviously use wifi.

@W0LFB3AT5: At least for me, Maps automatically asked if I would like to download area I'm mostly visiting to offline - also to rate/answer stuff of places I'm usually visiting. But my operator only offers unlimited data plans, so there's not much point.
