@W0LFB3AT5: We allow the names of custom species all the time, Worgen, Night elves, sergal, etc. If it helps find something in particular it makes sense to tag it.

The only important part is that it doesn't replace rl species, if applicable.

@NotMeNotYou: Except pokémon (and maybe digimon or others).

P.S. Before anyone starts, don't argue about whether pokémon should tagged as rl animals or not in the blips. There's a forum here.
