@Chameloshi: If you're on PC just remove it via console, if you're not on PC you can actually use a dialog glitch by activating the dialog to safe the kid and then quickly use it yourself. Removes the debuff and still safes the kid.

Or let the kid die.

@NotMeNotYou: well I died the first time, and since I'm in survival (on the PS4) my last save spot was in a bed outside the vault. I'm just going to wait until I'm a much higher level before starting it again.

I need the Overseer's Guardian, tho.
