This is helpful in multidute of ways, one of which Ratte already said, but I personally do this in description field instead. Less comment bloat that way.

There's tradeoffs with both options. In the desc, less comment bloat, but anyone can delete it on a whim. In a comment, bloat beneath page, but there forever for reference. Both prevent myriad inane 'Reupload?' comments.
