@Fenrick: no it's not, and anyone who suggests it is should go stand in the metaphorical corner.
Is it wrong to have a preference? I don't think it's wrong to look for a partner with certain interests and opinions. It's unfortunate that this extends to how one look. On the other hand some looks are more favoured by others.
@Fenrick: Nothing wrong with preferences. If someone isn't interested or is incompatible, then that's that. Friendship is still possible, as long as it's not done with the assumption that it will progress further. Nobody is entitled to a relationship.
