@Kristal Candeo: I wouldn't classify a political leaning as mental, those you listed are generally categorized as ideologies.

When you referred to mental I understood that meant things like depression, bipolar disorder, and similar.

@Kristal_Candeo: Another problem with theories of personality is that most of them don't allow for any amount of "evil" in a life style, which is something the current favorite of the "five factor" personality theory kinda allows by not disallowing.

@Kristal_Candeo: As current psychology teaches, the things you list would probably be classified as "personality", but the problem with current standards of personality is they're not fully developed yet and tend to lean toward a social norm.
