smooth transition back into the non-November part of the year this time. no December 1st madness like there was last year.

if anyone was wondering about the name I chose for New Name November this year, "dfn-451":

the format of DXN-### is the format of robot master index numbers in the Mega Man series. the choice of "451" is because, they look like the letters "ish" if you type them into a calculator and flip it upside down, and with the "f" from the prefix you get "fish".

as for the reason: while I've pretty much always been a Mega Man fan, this year especially. this is mainly the result of getting way more into this NPC v. NPC fight simulator YT channel, MegaMan Victory, than anyone reasonably should (to the point of creating a big spreadsheet to track every fighter's stats, creating character icons for the ones that didn't have them previously). it's been one of the few things keeping me sane.
