most often, with the ones that tend to go viral, the biggest tell is just that the premise dosn't make sense. like with those pet/animal videos, the subjects don't act like any animal would act, they act closer to cartoon characters, or like puppets following a script.

remember that these videos are often prompted by the same types that would be writing "then everyone clapped"-type autobiographical fanfiction on Tumblr/Reddit over the past dozen or so years, and the stuff they're making now is likely to have the same level of narrative coherence and understanding of the world.
