FUN FACT: thanksgiving was controversially changed by FDR to take place on November 23rd in 1939 instead of the 30th. People who disagreed would call November 23rd "franksgiving," while others agreed with the president. There were three camps of people: Those who celebrated on the 23rd, some who celebrated on the 30th and some who celebrated both the 23rd and the 30th.
