The upvote, downvote, fav, etc buttons now have a shadow and it looks very dated. Also, they made the favorite button yellow now. Why do they keep changing things all the time without informed notice???

How exactly would you like us to inform the whole site every time we make a change as minor as the color of a button? Via email?

The site usually updates once a week. Do you really want to be nagged about every minor change once a week? If you are genuinely that invested, you can see what is being worked on with this open-source site on GitHub, but I doubt the majority of people care that much.

I'd be very open to suggestions, but in terms of practicality, it's currently not worth it. I really like the idea of a beta site, but that's a colossal amount of extra work for our sole dedicated developer (& the patchwork crew of occasional unpaid volunteer contributors) to manage.
