Hot take but people in the UK should peacefully protest the online safety act. Please people, go out irl and protest. Peacefully picket and peaceful protesting around government buildings. Be loud and annoying, yet peaceful and non violent. It’s only a matter of time before the online safety act escalates from censorship of nsfw content to censorship of anything LGBTQ+ please people. Take irl action. Even if it’s just a group of 3 people standing outside of a government building holding signs, it will grow. The smartest thing the government has done is convince most people protesting means complaining online. Obviously continue to spread information online, but also take to the streets. They can easily ignore emails and online petitions, it’s harder to ignore people being loud and annoying. But obviously stay peaceful, the second any protest escalates to be non peaceful leave immediately. I encourage people to take a stand and change the world.

I don't think people will do anything. Nothing remains in the world except greed (money), hypocrisy, and intimidation (social control). No more spirit or courage anywhere, complete absolute cynicism. The UK, MAGA, anyone, could outright criminalize LGBTQ tomorrow, and 49% of the population would be like, "NO! WE'LL NEVER SURRENDER!", then they roll out the unmarked police with masks, "WE'LL NEVER S-SURRENDER... W-W... We surrender..." And the other 51% of the population would cheer and celebrate. We're doomed.
