How To Train Your Dragon | Official Teaser Trailer

The original movie is only 14 years old. A remake already?

Granted, I never saw the original movie, because the animation style was a pretty strong put-off to me. I never really liked the "3D cartoon" that many animated movies have moved to. Real people with a more realistic style does make it (potentially) more interesting if the acting is up to par. And I can't really complain if it means more interest in making more dragon porn.

I mean, I don't think the Lion King remake made much of an impact on fan art density for that series (and largely the same can be said for any of the remakes Disney has put out in the past dozen or so years). I'd be surprised if the same didn't end up being true for DreamWorks doing something similar. really, people who'd want to draw dragon porn probably already do.

that being said, it's not like remakes have no chance of pushing the needle in this matter, although I think I've really only seen much of an impact from video game remakes.
