for sure, i found it quite enjoyable,

to suggest other animes with similar appeal: i'd say Gate: Jieitai Kanochi nite and Goblin Slayer were pretty close; the 'vibe' of overlord kinda sits in-between those two. You might also like Youjo Senki.
of course there's many many isekai shows which are superficially similar to overlord, but few which have the same kind of gripping portrayal

i'll withhold my opinion on season two & three however

can't comment on english versions; i only watch anime with japanese audio
