Race created by Ratte.

The native race of Faradus, an ocean away from the Enthos-Cyavi-Ramios landmass and south of Psycrhel. The region is further divided into north, south, and southern island Faradus. "Dilute" new faradens originated in northern Faradus near Psycrhel while pure faradens are widespread in the south. There are still ongoing racial tensions between both groups, though most of the strain is at the far north and far south towns.

Faradens in general consist of terrestrial mammals lacking horns or hooves, which instead evolved into ramiotrans before Ramios and Faradus split and drifted apart many millions of years ago. New faradens are thought to have developed from relations with psycrhens in the far north in seclusion for some hundreds of years, and though they look greatly different from pure faradens they are nearly functionally identical. The physical similarities with other animals are considered cases of widespread convergent evolution.

Pure faradens consist of six mammal orders which existed before the mid-Eocene epoch while new faradens consist of eight mammal orders which existed from or afterward.
