Ori is the titular character of Ori and the Blind Forest and its sequel Ori and the Will of the Wisps. A Guardian Spirit, Ori was separated from the Spirit Tree at birth, and put under the care of Naru, who acts in the capacity of a foster parent. Despite the unusual start, Ori's childhood was largely a happy one. It was only after the forest started to decay and Naru died that Ori felt a need to trace its past origins, feeling that they might help to understand how to cure what ailed the forest.

Ori is a white, small creature with a similar stance to a human. Ori has a cat-like tail, and large dark blue eyes. they have two short horn-like ears on top of their head, and underneath them they have larger ears. Ori's feet have small white hooves.
