In Greek and Roman mythology, harpies were an all-female species in the form of a bird with a human face.

Nowadays harpies are common in fantasy literature and games. They're also heavily featured in the monster girl genre. While most are still female, other genders are not completely unheard of.

Harpies are humanoid by default. Most designs should be tagged as harpy humanoid instead.
