The arctic fox (Vulpes lagopus) is a species of fox common in Arctic regions. They are distinguished from other foxes by their small ears and size. White morph arctic foxes have a coat that changes from white in winter to brown in summer, while blue morph arctic foxes maintain a dark coloration all year. They are classified as Least Concern on the IUCN Red List of Threatened Species.
